David Kek - Site Supervisor, Heritage Middle School AM & Noreen Center PM
I'm thrilled to work for SAC in the school district I grew up in. I received my B.S. in Sports Management at Minnesota State University-Mankato. My previous professional experience included behavior intervention at the high school setting as well as SAC at the elementary level. In my free time I enjoy exercising, online shopping, watching TED Talks, reading, and anything related to basketball and football.
Lauren Kress - Site Supervisor
I’m excited to be a part of the SAC program, since I love working with children. I have 6 years of teaching experience in the public school system, ranging from preschool to 8th grade. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, where I earned a B.A. in Elementary and Secondary Education as well as French. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. Some of my favorite hobbies are walking, reading, playing the violin, and cooking. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children this coming year!

Chris Bolchen - Inclusion Specialist
Hi, My name is Chris Bolchen and I am the Inclusion Manager for District 197’s School Age Care Program. I have worked in the district since 2014 and have served in the roles of SAC Instructional Assistant site supervisor at Mendota Elementary and also as a school year and summer special education paraprofessional. Before that time, I was a language arts teacher for nine years in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
As an educator and parent I am passionate about meeting the needs of children of all abilities and helping to provide a safe, equitable and engaging environment for them to be part of during our before school, after school and summer programs.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, going outdoors, biking, hiking and canoeing. I love music, campfires, good food and the many fish, turtles, dog and lizard that are my pets.
