Paige John - Site Supervisor
I have been working in the School-Age Care program since January 2011. I have a Bachelor's degree in art and theater from the University of Minnesota and my daughter is also a recent graduate of the U of M, after attending schools in ISD 197. I really enjoy interacting with children and helping them learn and explore
Tyler Green - Site Supervisor
My name is Tyler Green and I am the site supervisor for the Mendota School Age Care program. I am coming up on my fifth year working within District 197. Previously I worked with adolescents in Anoka and St. Louis county where I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a focus on Criminology and Psychology. Although I was born and raised in Maine I have found a great community here and am looking forward to working with the students before and after school!
Jason Tutewohl - Support Para
I have been working in the School Age Care program since the summer of 1994! In the summer I coach girl's soccer. I am looking forward to having another fun and exciting school year!
Susan Wied - Special Ed Para
I began working for ISD 197 in 2015 as an AVID tutor. I began working for SAC in November. My previous employment includes 10 years as a paraprofessional with MPLS Public Schools & three years in Edina as an Early Childhood Associate. I have an Associate of Arts degree from Inver Hills Community College and a Graphic Arts certification from HTC.
Yuki Anderson - Support Para
Hi! I moved to the States 20 years ago from Japan. I started working with SAC last November and really enjoy being with all the children. They are so funny sometimes and the stories they tell always make me smile. When not at work I enjoy reading and attending my two boys soccer and baseball games.
Mary Rasmussen - Support Para
I'm going on my 6th year working in the 197 school dist. In 2009 I started working as a kindergarten classroom para along with doing the lunchroom/playground supervision at Pilot Knob. After school & during school breaks I was a Targeted Services para. In Feb of 2012 I started working in the School Age Care program at Moreland, I also now work as a lunchroom/playground para at Moreland. When not at school I love spending time with friends, Mazy - my Golden doodle dog, and my grandkids.

Hi! I started in the School-Age Care in March of 2018. I am currently studying at the University of Minnesota. I love working with children and am excited to continue to help them learn and grow. In my free time I love to hangout with my friends and family.

Juan Telles - Suppor Para
My name is Juan Telles and I am currently attending the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in Youth Studies. In my free time I enjoy playing board games and video games with my four younger siblings and friends.
Jon Gerster - Special Ed. Para
My name is Jon Gerster and I help at Mendota Elementary as a support paraprofessional. I also help as an instructional assistant at Moreland Elementary and lead worship at City on a Hill Church in Rosemount. In my spare time, I like going to the movies, going out for a good burger, and running races like 5Ks and half marathons.
Chris Bolchen - Inclusion Specialist
Hi, My name is Chris Bolchen and I am the Inclusion Manager for District 197’s School Age Care Program. I have worked in the district since 2014 and have served in the roles of SAC Instructional Assistant site supervisor at Mendota Elementary and also as a school year and summer special education paraprofessional.
Before that time, I was a language arts teacher for nine years in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
As an educator and parent I am passionate about meeting the needs of children of all abilities and helping to provide a safe, equitable and engaging environment for them to be part of during our before school, after school and summer programs.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, going outdoors, biking, hiking and canoeing. I love music, campfires, good food and the many fish, turtles, dog and lizard that are my pets.
