Chris Bolchen - Inclusion Specialist
Hi, My name is Chris Bolchen and I am the Inclusion Manager for District 197’s School Age Care Program. I have worked in the district since 2014 and have served in the roles of SAC Instructional Assistant site supervisor at Mendota Elementary and also as a school year and summer special education paraprofessional.
Before that time, I was a language arts teacher for nine years in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
As an educator and parent I am passionate about meeting the needs of children of all abilities and helping to provide a safe, equitable and engaging environment for them to be part of during our before school, after school and summer programs.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, going outdoors, biking, hiking and canoeing. I love music, campfires, good food and the many fish, turtles, dog and lizard that are my pets.
