Julie Davis - Site Supervisor
I grew up and attended school in district 197, and I started working for SAC in September 2017. In my free time I enjoy camping, arts and crafts, and trivia. I'm also an experienced cake decorator, and I know a little Ojibwe language!
Amy Shaver - Site Supervisor
I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, with a bachelors degree in social work. I am currently going for my Masters in Human Resources! Last year, I worked at Pilot Knob as an Instructional Assistant and I am happy to be back at Pilot Knob as a Special Ed. Paraprofessional! In my free time, I enjoy heading up to my cabin, exercising, listening to music, and watching and playing all types of sports. Skol!
Jackie Reeves - Support Para
I started at SAC in October 2015. I have an Associate degree in Business Administration and worked at Wells Fargo for 20 years. In 2014, I left to care for my two granddaughters Adrianna and Skylar. I recently returned to the banking industry fulltime and work SAC part-time afternoons. I enjoy working with children of all ages, in my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping and spending lots of time with my granddaughters.
Diane Smith - Support para
My name is Diane Smith. I work as a para support at Pilot Knob. I have worked for SAC since 2016. I also am a preschool teacher and have been there for 22 years. I have been with my husband for 40 years. We have been married for 32 years. We have 7 children and 11 grandchildren. Family is very important to me and we spend a lot of time together. I also love to craft and redoing furniture. One of my favorite crafts I do is paint Christmas ornaments for my family and I make sure all the grandkids get a new one every year.

Brenda Mechill - Support Para
My name is Brenda Mechill. I am a mother of two boys ages 4 and 5. I currently work for the Eagan School District in the mornings in food service and I started with SAC at Pilot Knob Elementary 2019 school year in the afternoons. I am also self-employed with a sewing business of 20 years. I sew & crochet products for the Minnesota State Fair and a seasonal Boutique each year. Family is very important to me. I spend a lot of time with my boys exploring nature, arts and crafts and spending quality time together.
Juan Telles - Special Ed Para
My name is Juan Telles and I am currently attending the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in Youth Studies. In my free time I enjoy playing board games and video games with my four younger siblings and friends.
Chris Bolchen - Inclusion Manager
Hi, My name is Chris Bolchen and I am the Inclusion Manager for District 197’s School Age Care Program. I have worked in the district since 2014 and have served in the roles of SAC Instructional Assistant site supervisor at Mendota Elementary and also as a school year and summer special education paraprofessional. Before that time, I was a language arts teacher for nine years in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
As an educator and parent I am passionate about meeting the needs of children of all abilities and helping to provide a safe, equitable and engaging environment for them to be part of during our before school, after school and summer programs.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, going outdoors, biking, hiking and canoeing. I love music, campfires, good food and the many fish, turtles, dog and lizard that are my pets.
