Volunteer Oppotunities

Thompson Park Activity Center (TPAC) has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for older adults, including:
 

  • Office Volunteering, answering phones, taking registrations, customer service.

  • Event planning

  • Computer and Technology Mentoring

  • Facilitate a Club or Activity

  • Teach a class

  • Collating the Thompson Times

  • Diversity Committee - working to create programming to increase ethnic and racial diversity at our center.

  • Crafting - decorating bags for Meals on Wheels.

  • Sparkle Committee - help decorate for monthly special events.

  • Events Committee - help in serving and clean-up for special events.

  • Umbrella Project Member: short-term creative service projects in the community chosen by club members, see below for more information.
